Kapitel 59: Meeting with Isabella's father [2]

While they were heading, towards the mansion <D'Arvonne> inside the carriage, Emma and Isabella were having a staring match.

Erik could even see sparks in the air, while Emma grabbed him possessively, but decided not to comment anything, about why he felt that he is that he would come out as the bad guy.

Besides, he was wondering why Isabella's father had sent for her, he doubted it was simply to thank her.

But Erik already knew more or less why Isabella's father had sent for him.

'At least the gentleman I knocked out reported everything to this woman's father.'

That could be the only reason Erik believed Isabella's father. Besides, Isabella's father would most likely want to know the identity of Erik and Emma.

"My lady we have arrived."

The knights who were guarding the carriage reported that they had already arrived at the mansion of the <D'Arvonne> family and opened the carriage door.
