Kapitel 77: The True Fate of the Settlement

Rizz's cheeks perked up with a smile. "... May I?" 

Though Rizz asked for permission, his fingers were already around the rolled-up parchment. By the time Chief Kert had nodded, it was already unfurled and spread across the table.

With over a decade of studying game maps, Rizz scoured the document with veracious speed. But he almost instantly ran into a problem 

"... Is this all of Mroebo?" 

"No. I'm sorry to say that it is not." 

Regretful, the old chief sighed, "The lone full map was sold just last year for some extra silver. It was a great help at the time, to be sure. However, it was indeed a long-term sacrifice for the sake of momentary gain… 

"I wish Chief Strad had not sold it. But I had no say in the matter, and their extra earnings were spent wisely in my opinion." 

Rizz nodded in understanding. "I see… That must be one thing you each hold independently, knowledgable resources."
