"So, that's why Mommy never treated me as her daughter, because I'm really not her child! And even you! That's why you never attended my birthday before, it's because I'm not really your daughter!" Venice's voice choked with emotion.

"No, it's not because of that, Venice. That's not the reason I couldn't attend your birthday back then, okay? It's not because I didn't want to be there for you, but because I didn't want to show Helena that you were my weakness. I was afraid she would use you against me!" Victor explained, his voice filled with regret.
