Kapitel 618: Young Hero Wei Guiren

Kai Syaoran stood on a hill that overlooked the city. He silently watched everything that was going on without lifting a single finger.

After the humans cleaned up the battlefield, there was nothing left. Even the ice worm corpses were taken away. Kai Syaoran did not know what they could possibly want with the ice worm corpses but he did not stop them.

A few hours later, the ice worms returned. They came over the hills and from the forest like a flood. They covered the land as far as the eye could see. All these ice worms had come to kill and eat. They had come to hunt the humans.

Kai Syaoran did not stop them. He did not see any value in stopping them and in saving the humans. Besides, the two groups seemed to be equally matched. The humans had called in people who seemed to be mercenaries and these people stood on the city walls ready to battle the ice worms. Since the loser and the victor were undecided, Kai Syaoran saw no reason to interfere.
