On the highest peak of Martial Mountain, there was a large hall. At the entrance to this hall, the words 'ANCESTRAL HALL' were written in bold letters. These words exuded a powerful aura, and just by looking at them, one could glimpse the Dao.
Inside the hall, a powerful middle-aged man in red robes sat cross-legged on the cold floor with his eyes open. At the front of the hall, there were millions of burning red candles. These candles were not normal in any sense of the word. The flames produced by these candles were the Life Flames of the most valued disciples of the Sea Martial Sect. All disciples from the inner sect to the legacy sect had to keep a life flame in the ancestral hall.
The only disciples exempt from this were the outer sect disciples.
They were simply not too important to the sect.
