After Kai Syaoran's heavenly annihilation, everything in the world had finally settled down. The greatest calamity, the Wolf Imperator who had killed countless people had fled the world and his fate was unknown.

Most of the factions that had previously ruled the world had left and those that had stayed were all wiped out by the Heavenly Annihilation. The Only factions that remained in the world were the Desert Empire, the Huang Dynasty, The Sea Race and the demonic beasts.

This was what the Huang sisters had thought and at the time, it made clear sense since the Heavenly Annihilation had been directed at the humans on the three continents except the Western Desert continent.

They were wrong. They would later discover that the demonic beasts in the Endless forest had all gone missing. No one knew what they were about and even after Huang Biren searched the entire world, there was no sign of the beasts.
