Kapitel 55: A Dream?

Jolene let out a sigh, filling the quiet room as she woke up from a troubling dream.

Sweat covered her face, but she looked strangely emotionless, like she was used to these nightmares.

The same old story unfolded – her life coming to a sad end because of a mean colleague, Li Jun.

She hated the name with passion.

Li Jun was from the same assassin clan as she was from but became friends with the man she fell in love with, who ended up killing her mother because her mother overheard a secret mission.

But Jolene could not cut ties with him, since he also had no idea about her lover's aim. He was also deceived.

Since Li Jun was a friend to the spy who became her lover to get through her, Jolene naturally thought about the guy on seeing Li Jun and when that happened, she always found the urge to kill Li Jun but she knew she couldn't because he was an assassin in her clan.
