Qixiang's face darkened as she recalled those days when she had been fooled until Nolan called her attention with a mocking smile, "Have you not?"

Qixiang rolled her eyes before she took a gulp of her beer. "Isn't falling in love anything one can do, Brother Nolan? I have. I am very sure everyone would have fallen in love by this age."

Nolan shook his head, trying not to let out his loud laugh that was meant to annoy her. "Have you really? You are a different breed. I won't be surprised that you haven't."

Qixiang looked slightly annoyed, her mouth closed and opened like a fish before a crease appeared between her brows, "If it makes you sleep well at night, go ahead and think such, Brother Nolan."

There was a pause which brought total silence.

Qixiang looked around before turning back her attention to Nolan. "Back to where we were, why did you agree to drink with me when you said no at first?"
