When his power settled and he finally got the chance to study his bloodline, multiple things began to click and connect in his mind.

How could a bloodline, by mere virtue of its existence, allow one to become an Empyrean? An Empyrean of two paths at that?

How did their clan even come into being? Why did they hold such powers? Were they the only ones with such power? Why were the Heavens not killing them?

The answer to all those questions directly linked with the second reason he found that explained why the Heavens had punished him so harshly when he tried accessing other timelines.

According to his own calculations, if he harnessed the power of his selves from another timeline or more, he'd be able to offset the balance of the Heavens and break its order.

In simple words, the Heavens only had enough power to fully punish and control him if his power was capped to a singular timeline.
