Kapitel 7: Chapter 7
Meanwhile... In the palace
"We're sorry Your Majesty, we couldn't find her" The servants were visibly shaking while addressing the young man standing with his back to them in the garden. Anyone could feel the dark aura surrounding him, so cold and chill.
"Then what are you waiting for?" He didn't raise his voice but the servants flinched as if he shouted the question, his hands and his body were shaking profusely and the servants knew this sign well enough. He could devour the whole servants in the blink of an eye if he loses control.
"Leave!" he shouted and it sounded like a roar. His whole body was shaking convulsively. The servants quickly bowed and scurried out of the garden. He grabbed the chair placed by the garden sidewalk and took several deep breath. He didn't want to lose control over a woman. It'll only make him look weak.
After calming down, he took a step forward and disappeared into thin air. Within seconds, he arrived in a very dark and scary-looking cave. The cave looked deserted and abandoned, filled with cobwebs and eerie looking bat. He continued walking deeper into the cave not even stumbling on any thing. A well-enough sign to prove that he knew the cave too well. He kept walking deeper into the cave, he'd have just disappeared to his destination but he needed the walk to calm his nerves. Very soon he entered another hole, this one hole was beaming with some weird-looking-magical green light. In the corner of the hole, a man was sitting on a magnificent chair, shaped in the form of a tiger. The man's posture was relaxed and he didn't spare more than a glance at his visitor, he was casually examining his fingers. His hair was long and black, the clothes he wore were black so was his fingers and shoes. Only his eyes were different, they were gray.
"So... what brings us here Seymour or shall I say... Your Majesty"he spoke in a slow drawl.
" Luncan, today doesn't look like a day for a fight okay? I'm here to get answers"said Seymour, he knew he couldn't use his authoritive voice here as that will only make getting answers more difficult.
"You told me some days ago that my soulmate will be that one person I'll save when I lose control rather than killing her."Seymour asked his voice laced with doubt and anger
" That's right"Luncan nodded still maintaining the calm demeanor.
"Well... I finally rescue a girl when I lost control but she slipped from my hands."Seymour said with a scowl.
" Hmm"Luncan seemed thoughtful for a moment before he replied with a smirk
"Seems like fate wants to play hide and seek with you"
" What!"Seymour shouted out of impatience.
" Well, seems like fate wants you to find her yourself"Luncan explained but he was enjoying the expression on Seymour's face. Before he knew it, Seymour was in front of him, glaring down at him.
",Look I've had enough of you and your god-damned deity or fate or whatever you call it!"he was almost spitting into his face in fury but Luncan didn't flinch. He knows too well that Seymour could never hurt him.
Seymour straightened and sighed. "Look... I'm never going to step my foot on this floor again to listen to your crazy fate" With that, he took a step forward and disappeared not even saying goodbye.
Luncan was left alone in the cave and he closed his eyes for some minutes to focus on the future. When he opened it again, he laughed out loud.
The gods sure know how to play games.
