Kapitel 150: Anomalies

Gone was the gentle boy that Axel had helped raise. In his place stood an ancient warrior beast that the gods deemed too brutal for existence.

"Oh Moon," the War God breathed, unable to tear his eyes away from the lycan. "You are going to get into so much trouble for this…"

To this, the Goddess shrugged, nodding her head. "Yep…"

In the back of her mind, she knew there would be some form of repercussion for her actions. The lycan, as a species, was deemed by the gods to be too brutal for the Mortal Realm. An initiative by the Senior Council took place a few thousand years ago to discontinue species that were too far above the food chain. These species, appropriately labeled "Apex Alphas," were considered by many to be too strong and would throw off the balance of the animal kingdom; As other creatures could not survive or compete in their home ecosystem.
