Abbie revealed everything she knew to Ben.
She originally thought that after hearing everything, Ben would happily go look for his mother.
Who would have known, this big brother with a cool demeanor just sat in place, motionless, after listening.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Abbie called out to him.
Ben didn't speak, only hanging his head low, his expression unreadable.
"You're not harboring resentment towards mother, are you?" Abbie dropped his playful demeanor and became serious.
"I told you clearly, when mother first arrived in Europe, she had a tough time. Alone, pregnant with me and Lulu, she struggled so much. Uncle told me that mother had no choice but to leave Eastonia, if you still blame her for leaving you behind, then I don't acknowledge you as my big brother anymore."
"That's not it." Ben's cold voice sounded softly.
