"Milton White" breathed deeply to calm his anger. He looked elsewhere and ordered, "Bring the porridge to me."

The little girl did as she was told, took the spoon, and fed him spoonful by spoonful. Thoughtfully wiping his mouth with her sleeve when some porridge dribbled onto his lips.

The man was clearly unaccustomed to being waited upon like this – each mouthful was eaten with a frown.

This made the little girl think the taste wasn't good. She pulled away the spoon that was about to reach his mouth, and asked, "Does it taste bad?"

The man's frown deepened. "Away with it. I'm not eating anymore."

He gave a slight backward shift, closed his eyes, and pondered on how to escape.

Sometime later, his eyes opened. "Rain, unlock these handcuffs. I need to use the toilet."

The little girl thought for a while and then said, "If you finish this, I'll agree to your request."
