Cherry Foster ran far away, losing one of her shoes, yet not stopping.

Anders Spence called her name, overtaking her and pulling her into his arms.

"Cherry, stop avoiding me! You have been avoiding me for two years now!"

Cherry found it hard to imagine what a man might be feeling when he tears up after uttering a mere few words. The tears that wet her cheeks slid down the curve of her face.

Not long after, she too couldn't help but cry, nevertheless remaining silent.

She didn't know what to say, or where to begin.

So many words remained unspoken, separated by a barrier of identities.

By now, he was a married man, bearing no relationship with her.

"I miss you so much, there hasn't been a day when I didn't think of you. I thought I could forget you, but I couldn't, Cherry...I was wrong, I should have whisked you away when we had the chance. I shouldn't have succumbed to my parents' pressure to marry that wicked woman!"
