"Chapter 1255
The Yorks.
It was breakfast time, and Mane York was missing from the table.
A maid came to report, "Master, Mister, Madam, Young Miss said she has no appetite and doesn't want to eat."
"Oh dear, that's not good. She's been sitting in her room ever since she came home last night. I'll go call her." Mrs. York stood up.
Master lost his appetite too.
Mr. York said, "I just don't understand our daughter. Why does she have to fall for a man who's already taken? Isn't she just setting herself up for heartbreak?"
"So, you're blaming your daughter?" Master shot him a cold glare.
Mr. York responded, "You all spoil her too much, especially you, Dad."
"She's my granddaughter. If I don't spoil her, who will?" He said this as he rapped Mr. York lightly on the head as if reprimanding a child.
"Your thinking is flawed, siding with an outsider!"
"Am I siding with an outsider? I'm siding with reason. It's clear to me that Manie missed out, and that's something we can't help."
