"Sister, I remember you said that Jiang Jinxu came here at noon that day. What did he say?" Lu Jingzhi rested her chin in her hand as she tried to recall.

Jiang Tanyue: "He told us to take Jiang Xiaoya away from the old house. He didn't say anything else."

She was utterly confused.

Lu Jingzhi didn't understand what that meant either, so she turned to Jiang Wunian and asked, "Did you have a fight with Jiang Jinxu?"

Jiang Wunian thought for a moment, shook his head, and said softly, "No."

One of them spent all day cooped up reading books, while the other helped with chores all day.

They hardly had any interaction, so how could they have a fight?

Lu Jingzhi took the things out of her backpack, picked up a wild chicken, and was about to leave when Jiang Tanyue called out to her, "Are you sending it to Village Head Yang's house?"
