Exams had just ended, and the five of us—Rex, Lily, Alex, Jude, and I—were gathered on the school rooftop taking a much-needed breather after the exhausting exam period. The sun bathed us in warmth, and a fresh breeze danced around us, making the moment feel almost perfect.

"I can't believe we are finally done with exams!" I exclaimed, feeling a wave of relief wash over me as I stretched my arms out.

"Right? It feels like we have been studying forever," Lily replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "What a relief to have a break before the next session!"

"Yeah," I agreed. "So much has happened this semester."

We all chuckled, reminiscing about the ups and downs of the school year.

Rex chimed in, "Remember how we couldn't stand each other at the start of the year? It's wild how things have changed."
