Kapitel 42: Xaen

Most of these demons corpses were dismembered, and their limbs seemingly forcefully torn off, exposing white bones and shredded flesh... it was terrifying and brutal.

The red eyes of the demons seemed to retain a sense of fear, and silently gazing at the clear sky of evergreen glade forest.

"Ah...?"

A melodious and languid voice entered the young elf's ears.

"Oh, an elf. I thought it was another monster."

The young elf immediately stepped back, turning to look: "Lady Thalia?"

"Well," Thalia beckoned with a hand.

The elf looked at Thalia in astonishment.

Thalia was undeniably a beautiful female elf, but she now appeared extremely frightening.

Her once-beautiful golden hair was stained with black demons blood, and streaks of it clinging to her fair face.

Her previously clean clothes were now splotched with large patches of blood, the fresh drops trickling down her slender fingers – yet she seemed unperturbed.
