Kapitel 15: Ability Tree
Sitting in the lotus position until morning... there is very little progress. Turns out that she has to replace the Yin energy in her body with fate qi. Though it's not as easy as it sounds. Imagine the process as taking a jenga block out of the middle of the tower, then putting a new one in. The new one being a larger stronger block.
It's very tricky to replace the yin energy with fate qi into body cultivation for her stage. So far she managed to gather a few particles of fate qi. Which in turn increased her luck by 1. By no means was it a breakthrough though.

Deimos has 2 options... she can keep taking her chances with cultivation for a while, or she can look for people.
'Well I'm not too powerful at the moment so I shouldn't search for people when everyone in the cultivation world always backstabs at the slightest sign of weakness'
Returning to her focus, she once again pinpoints and attempts to move the fate Qi. Which for her current self, moving fate qi is completely impossible without it just giving up. Time for another long cultivation session.

'Luckily this cultivation technique was compatible with the Yin Body Cultivation technique, or I would have had to use the cultivation abolishing pill to remove my cultivation base'
Standing up and stretching after the long cultivation session, Deimos opens up her status window.

There was another new stat, Qi. Which powers cultivator spells and different things like talismans. It seems to have appeared because Deimos broke into the first Qi cultivator stage/realm. She really shouldn't even have 2, but apparently the un-awakened stat still got doubled by her name.
Good for her though. Along with this her willpower increased by 2 and her luck by 13. Which is a large boost for luck. Levelling up 3 different stages of cultivation also gave her 6 stat points. This might be something Byron can abuse too, infinite stat points by repeatedly changing cultivation techniques.
As Deimos gets up from the lotus position and stretches her arms and legs, she sees a notification in the system menu. Coming from the ability tree menu. Looking at this, Deimos selects the ability tree option.
The notification she got, led her to a specific tree that "unlocked" called Luck. Apparently it unlocked after a luck based cultivation type was introduced into her soul. Or at least that's what the system says.
Seeing this she selects it and opens the ability tree. Currently she has only one buyable ability, but it looks like it branches off into 2 separate paths. Checking out the ability currently available she opens its description.
[Probability manipulation tier 1 (SSS grade common)
This is a severely limited version of probability manipulation. Relies on the User's luck stat, not as effective as higher tiers.

'Well I have 12050 achievement points so I might as well take it, this will be useful to me'

Once she bought probability manipulation she saw the next 2 options of the skill tree appearing. There was a warning that said (Warning! Picking a path will lock the other!) it displayed 2 separate options.
Passive Skill Path: (Grants powerful passive abilities that manipulate luck or fated encounters)
[Luck based talent (S grade common)
Increases cultivation talent by 0.5% per luck stat point (max 50% increase)
Ability Cost: 1000 achievement points]
Active skill Path: (Grants powerful abilities meant for manipulating luck or fated encounters consciously)
[Luck stockpiling (S grade common)
Allows user to "store" luck conciously and save it for later use. It's more accurately Delaying lucky events stockpiling them into a better event.

'Phew this is a hard choice... Do I want active or passive abilities? Both seem very good..... and everything forward in each path is definitely good.... I'll save the decision for later'

Deimos goes to check out the new skill she got from the ability tree. She once again sits down in a lotus position and concentrates on gathering fate Qi. After she begins to sense fate qi, she attempts to bring it in. Starting to use probability manipulation tier 1 to focus her luck on the fate qi, making them more likely to give up.
Pulling and pulling with her mind, the fate qi like usual just doesn't give up. But these attempts are kind of similar to weight lifting..... but not exactly. Deimos is getting better and better at qi manipulation as this goes on. But it will still take a long while before she can force the fate qi to herself.
Momentarily taking a mental break, Deimos thinks to herself 'This is probably one of those.... you're a thousand years too young to fight me moments or something heh'
She returns to her attempts at pulling the fate qi.... suddenly one of them comes loose snapping into her body like a rubber band snapping. Quickly taking action Deimos pushes it into her bones while removing a bit of yin energy and keeping the rest from following. The yin energy from that restricted spot quickly flows away after being set free.
This will continue for a long time.
