"First of all, can you please stop calling me master? Wenna if someone is listening to our conversation there are going to be a lot of misunderstandings!" Wentworth retorted, he doesn't feel comfortable at all with Wenna keeps calling him Master.
"Fine, fine... I'll call you my dear future husband then, I guess?" Wenna teased.
"I don't know which one is better or worst to be honest..." Wentworth shake his head in disbelief.
Wenna laughed, seeing how lost Wentworth was when she kept teasing him; Wentworth couldn't help but see her in a new shade when all of her mask had dropped.
This is the real Wenna, the genuine cheery girl compared to the time they first met under Joseph's arrangement.
Hearing Wenna's voice, Wentworth turned to her with a half-smile. He held her gaze until she began to look uncomfortable, then said gently, "Alright, Wenna. Now, go ahead and tell your big brother what we just discussed."
Wenna's face instantly tensed. In a panic, she stammered, "Wentworth, please listen to me. What I said is true, I swear..."
But Wentworth interrupted her with disdain. "How can it be such a coincidence? As soon as I return to Uagadou, before I even step into my own home, you find me! There's an old saying where I come from: the more beautiful a woman is, the more deceitful she is. But it doesn't matter. I already know the answer I needed."
"Whether what you said is true or not, go and tell Joseph. I know everything, and I won't hide it. I'll inform my grandfather."
"If what you just said is true and you genuinely want to leave Africa and the Coney tribe, this is your test. If you survive, my promise stands: I will take you back to Europe and ensure your safety.
However, if you lied and are here to spy for Joseph, that's fine. You can return to him now, and I won't stop you."
Wenna stared blankly at Wentworth, stunned. After a long silence, she finally spoke. "Wentworth, don't you understand the seriousness of this situation? This is Africa, this is Uagadou! Besides, Dumbledore isn't back yet! Aren't you afraid that you can't easily go back to Europe after messing with the Coney tribe?"
Wentworth smiled dismissively. "I really want to see how your Coney tribe plans to keep me trapped in Africa! Believe me, Joseph can't afford the cost, and neither can the entire Coney tribe!"
Hearing Wentworth's confident declaration, Wenna gave him a long, contemplating look before turning to leave.
After a few steps, she stopped, turned back, and smiled at him, "Actually, most of what I just said is true, dear husband."
Wentworth smiled, waved his hand indifferently, and said, "Carry on, everything I said is true as well! If everything goes right then Uagadou will be missing one of it's beauties."
Wenna was surprised by Wentworth's sudden compliment, and she blushed at his praise. She smiled before turning away from Wentworth and ran to the distance.
As Wenna hurried away, Wentworth stood up, stretched, and left the dining lawn. He was about to find a Uagadou student to ask for directions to the principal's office when he bumped into siblings Jimon and Emma.
Before Wentworth could speak, Emma exclaimed, "Wentworth, is that you?"
He smiled and nodded, "That's right, it's me. Can you tell me how to get to the Headmistress' office?"
Emma looked stunned and then replied nervously, "Wentworth, what are you planning to do? Don't be impulsive! I told you those things hoping you'd inform Albus Dumbledore!"
Wentworth smiled dismissively, "Of course, I will tell Headmaster Dumbledore. Don't worry."
Emma seemed even more concerned and insisted on personally leading Wentworth to Uagadou's principal's office. Faced with her persistence, Wentworth shrugged and said, "Alright, let's go together then!"
Hearing Wentworth agree, Emma breathed a sigh of relief.
Wentworth then motioned Jimon aside and whispered a few words in his ear. Jimon's eyes widened with shock, and he shook his head repeatedly. But before he could protest, Wentworth pulled out a bag of gold Galleons and pressed it into Jimon's hand.
Jimon weighed the gold in his hand, his expression conflicted, but eventually, he nodded firmly. Wentworth, satisfied, patted Jimon on the shoulder, and Jimon quickly departed.
Wentworth returned to Emma and said softly, "Alright, let's go together."
Under Emma's guidance, they headed toward Uagadou's principal's office. On the way, Emma asked what Wentworth had said to her brother. Wentworth replied nonchalantly, "I asked him to find out something for me."
Emma looked concerned. "There's no danger, is there?"
Wentworth thought for a moment and then answered calmly, "As long as he isn't discovered, there won't be any danger. If he is discovered... well, as long as he isn't killed on the spot, his life won't be in danger."
Emma stared at Wentworth in silence, although she couldn't see him but her face was directed into Wentworth's direction.
After a few moments, Wentworth finally felt uncomfortable with the stare he received from her, "Oh, come on, Emma! Just lead me to the Headmistress' Office for now, I am pretty sure Jimon could take care of himself."
"Well, whatever you say then. You better be responsible later on if Jimon got hurt..." Emma remarked before he took Wentworth by the wrist and started walking.
Wentworth was trying his hardest not to laugh, but he couldn't help but chuckle, "Being led by the blind, huh?" He thought to himself.
As Emma led Wentworth to the principal's office at Uagadou, Wenna arrived at Joseph's luxurious residence in the school.
The small building housed not only Joseph but also other students from the Coney tribe studying at Uagadou. Seeing Wenna, many people greeted her warmly, their eyes full of enthusiasm. Normally, Wenna would joke with them, but today, she was not in the mood.
Wenna went straight to the top floor, where two wizards with wands stood guard. These wizards were clearly not Uagadou students. Wenna, unfazed, said, "I want to see my brother."
One of the wizards went inside while the other watched Wenna cautiously. Soon, the first wizard returned and said, "Miss Wenna, the young master will see you now."
Wenna took a deep breath, walked up to the top floor, and headed directly to a richly decorated study.
"Brother, I have come to report Wentworth's activity," Wenna slowly spoke.
Joseph, who was sitting quietly at a large desk while reading a book, slowly lifted his head and stared at Wenna, "I hope you bring good news for now..."
