"So you're saying that it was Pi Enshu's hospitalization that triggered the hauntings?"

The four members of the exorcist team were sitting outside, enjoying the last moments of peace before the next night with ghosts was to start. Soon, the talismans would light up… And they probably wouldn't get a chance to catch a break like that until sunrise. But most importantly, they had to discuss the situation, and decide how to best take advantage of those few hours they had to communicate with the ghosts.
