Kapitel 46: Cannot raise hand at my husband

In the evening, Chris finished his first day's work and headed to get into the car.

"Chris!" Sean called him out, but he didn't stop. Instead, he got into the car and drove past him, ignoring his presence. He drove to the club, where his friends awaited him.

Upon reaching there, the three of his friends were delighted to see him.

"You left the college. Everyone was shocked and gossips were happening around saying you joined the work because of pressure," Peter said.

Chris chuckled and sat on the comfort sofa. "I didn't take this decision in pressure," he stated.

Thomas handed him the beer glass. "Then, why did you leave the college suddenly? Is it because of Suzy? Your wife has gotten an influence over you," he remarked and sat across from him.

Chris took a sip of the beer and placed the glass on the table. He glanced at Liam, who had an amusing smile on his lips. "Don't you have to ask me anything?" he queried.
