After waking up sometime late in the morning, Alex and the girls climbed out of bed to find that the tropical storm was raging harder than ever. Any attempts at getting any work done would be pointless. Instead, they would need to spend the day indoors. After all, it's not exactly like they packed any actual weatherproof clothing.
Luckily for them, they had constructed a little fire wood stockpile just outside the dugout shelter, which had a rain resistant awning that prevented the wood from getting wet. With this, they could reasonably keep themselves warm and dry for several days without the need to go scavenge more firewood.
Dal immediately began to get up and prepare some breakfast for the day. The firewood stove had two separate stove tops. Allowing the girl to boil some coffee and make some scrambled eggs at the same time. It was not long before the group were eating their breakfast and enjoying a nice cup of joe. All while safe from the elements.
If you would like to show support for the novel, please gift it with power stones, golden tickets, reviews, comments, collections, et cetera. And for every super gift I receive, I will publish an additional chapter either that day or the next!
Since I will be heading out to China sometime next week. I am going to be building up a stockpile of my two novels so that I don't have to write while I'm there. Because I am building up a stockpile for two novels, I will only be releasing one chapter a day from now until the end of my trip.
Thank you all so much for the continued support. And I should be back to a normal writing schedule two weeks from now.
