She would admit nothing about his house was new to her. Even his gestures were still the same as if they were still together. 

Frankly, he was acting like the other night did not even happen. He doted on her as if he was still her loving fiancée.

"You know you don't have to do all of this." She wondered if it was just guilt that was making him act this way.

She could not let her emotions cloud her judgment about him. She could not mistake his action as anything more than kindness or even pity on her situation.
