Travis had no idea if he managed to convince her about the truce. But it was the best he could think of under the circumstances.

Although he could only blame himself for his current situation, he still believed everybody deserved another opportunity to prove she was wrong about him.

But honestly, he was skeptical about what he was trying to establish between them. He still wanted Thalia. There was no doubt about that. 

"I will think about it." He remembered her say after being quiet for some time. He almost thought he only imagined it.

"What is there to think about? It is just one time. I only want you to get to know the other side of me." But something in his mind nagged at it, mocking him.
