"How is Angelique?" That was the first question he faced when he visited his friend at the private hospital where he had confined himself for the experimental treatment.

Nobody could visit him except for a few selected people he had authorized. One was him since he was one of the few he trusted.

He could not be too careful since if word came out about his condition. Then, it would be a blood bath. Everybody would want a piece of him and his company.

"She is great, but she kept asking about you," Damon told the older man, who seemed to have aged considerably since the last time he saw him. And that was just a few days ago.

He could not help but be concerned about his friend's condition. Although the doctors had warned them that his friend would have to go through some shit first before he felt better.

Still, it was hard to see him deteriorate in this way. His friend had always been a proud man, a true gentleman, and a real cowboy.
