Kapitel 189: Chapter 189

Last night was not perfect, but it still turned out to be one of the best nights of his life. Yeah! He admitted he had made many mistakes. Yet, the evening somehow still ended up great. 

He guessed that was all he could ask for after the effort he had put into this date. The result might not be what he had wanted, but it still turned out more than he had expected.

"...And I hardly doubt you would pass as a Damsel in distress," Jules's lighthearted response still echoed in his mind. 

Amusingly, he liked that he was not the only one who could throw a punch line. But in all honesty, he believed she was better at it.

"Yeah, I think I am." That was her reply when asked if she was ok and hungry. She sounded convincing as she smiled and acted like she was starving.

Nevertheless, he was slightly concerned at what he had witnessed. It might be just a dream, but it still bothered him. He heard that dreams sometimes carried some truth behind them.
