"You are doing great." Dale praised the young boy as he scribbled a few wiggly lines and crooked circles on the blank white paper he had bought him as a gift with other art materials.

In his opinion, true art did not have to conform to anything. It just had to express one's feelings. It only needed to convey the emotion of the artist at that moment.

But what separates an artist from a great artist would be the outcome of their artwork. The great ones could create masterpieces that other people could relate to.

While the other artists just scribbled and combined colors that only they could comprehend and, most of the time, appreciate. 

"I like the way you drew these lines. It is interesting." He commended his nephew's work, encouraging him to continue and do more.
