Kapitel 99: Ointments and Suppressants (1)

After leaving Beth the order to give Halter a short bath, Mikael and Halter made their way to the family doctor's chamber.

And inside the room, white curtains softly billowed by the open windows, allowing the gentle sunlight to filter through. The atmosphere was hushed in the infirmary room of the Wolfram estate, a huge contrast to the earlier commotion they had left behind at the horse stables.

"Good morning, my lo, lady–" the family doctor greeted with a warm smile and a reassuring voice. However, he stopped in his tracks when he saw Mikael, the butler, holding a young boy who was bleeding from several cuts and bruises. 

"Oh, dear, Halter, what happened here?" he exclaimed, quickly motioning for Mikael to sit the boy on the bed. He pulled up a chair and took out his medical kit, while Mikael explained the occurrence at the house stables.
