Kapitel 92: The Merchant's Arrival (2)

Mikael waited with bated breath as the carriage door slammed open, revealing the merchant he had been expecting. However, to Mikael's surprise, the man bore little resemblance to the typical image of a merchant.

He was not the usual sort of person who traded goods and services. Well, it was very obvious that one would not easily guess that he was a merchant for his clothes at first glance.

'He's...'

Mikael did not want to make rude assumptions, but the man looked more like a bandit or a mercenary with a rough and sturdy appearance.

He had a solid bulk body. He looked like a giant among men, his wide shoulders and strong arms giving him an imposing presence. 

His features were hidden by a bushy beard of the same red hue as his hair. His eyes had a fierce glint, as if he was always ready for a fight or a challenge, not someone who cared much about trading or money.
