The zombie hunting organization was established at the beginning of the apocalypse. This place used to be an underground research facility during peaceful times.

"The outbreak of the apocalypse created a natural refuge."

"Through several months of development, survivors continued to join the organization."

"Now, it has grown to include hundreds of people, many of whom are Awakened."

"The founder was a scientist from peaceful times, but most of us haven't seen him."

Shaun listened intently, gaining a basic understanding of the zombie hunting organization.

After a moment, he asked, "How did you become an Awakened? And how did you get stronger?"

Shaun had always been curious about this aspect. While he understood the rules of evolution for zombies and mutant creatures, he knew nothing about the process for humans.
