"Lady Lapis… please, that's enough. Any more would be dangerous... for you."
Lapis' royal-blue eyes narrowed in deep displeasure. The glowing authority in her sword flared dangerously and she spoke.
|How dare you? |
Her voice was a hiss and her glare pinned the man in place, amplifying the soul strain he was feeling. The moonlight in her blade pulsed as if responding to her fury, ready to unleash its mistress' wrath upon him.
But before she could scold the man further for daring to interfere in the spar, Jamie calmly pulled back his sword.
The Galaxy Sword, now no longer restrained by the man's grip, floated gently into the air, its cosmic mist still swirling serenely.
Exhaling a soft sigh, Jamie walked forward and placed his hand on the old man's shoulder.
"You have a good subordinate, Lapis. Cherish him well."
Jamie spoke with a soft smile and tapped his hand on the man's shoulder, sending ether from his palm.
"Lady Lapis… please, that’s enough. Any more would be dangerous... for you."
