After waiting for a good five minutes, which Amrita used to calm her racing heart down since after the incident with Giovanni, the thoughts of seeing her mother was like a nervously student walking in for a test unprepared.

She didn't know that meeting her mother would arouse such a reaction from her, but having known what sort of woman her mother was, it took a whole lot of prep talk to remind herself that she isn't here to fight with her, rather she's here to meet her mother who she missed.

When the door opened, Lilac, her mother's driver, was the first in sight before her mother walked into the room, with a huge smile on her face.

"And there's my sweet girl." Nora said excitedly, with her spread wide to embrace Amrita, who inhaled her lovely lavender scent that she had missed. This is a progress that today is going to be fine.
