Kapitel 45: Chapter 45: The Reality of Zeroch City

Standing side by side in the dark tunnel, Cale and Fredrich knelt beside the young man whose pulse was getting weaker.

"He's in serious condition. He will die at this rate," Fredrich said as he saw the blackened scars all over the young man and black blood flowing from the wound instead of red. He reached out to check his eyes, but Cale grabbed him by the wrist.

"Stay back a little. You might get infected," he said as he let go of Fredrich's hand.

"What are you going to do?"

Cale checked the young man's eyes and saw that they were starting to turn black. It was only a matter of time before this young man was one of those outside.

"I will try to purify him."

"Isn't that dangerous for you?"

"No problem," he said and was about to put his hand on the young man's chest when Fredrich grabbed his arm.

"Don't do anything to endanger yourself!"
