Hearing that Bai Tingfeng came, Shen Yuan immediately put down the papers that kept him busy. Internally, he is thankful that Bai Tingfeng came because he's literally on the verge of biting his tongue off.

The thick wooden door of the study creaked open, revealing a tank top wearing Bai Tingfeng— his standard sleepwear.

"I hope we didn't disturb you when you're busy," Bai Tingfeng said. He didn't stay standing by the door, not entering the study.

"It's a much-needed disturbance, Master Bai. I think I'll be having an information overload with everything I self-studied," Shen Yuan said, smiling. "But, what do you mean we?"

"The thing is…" The alpha trailed off, and he slowly opened the door wider. And there, Shen Yuan saw that Bai Tingfeng had a little shadow behind him.

"Yanyan?" Shen Yuan called the boy, but the latter didn't budge.

Yanyan's face is hidden by his father's perky behind, so he can't see the boy's expression.
