The system then gave Travis a visual of his face, he didn't see any difference, just a better facial structure, then again he never cared for his looks, so he didn't bother asking anything.
' Now that I'm done with that, what could I, possibly do now?' He wondered to himself.
<In Gloria's house>
She is currently walking toward her daughter's bedroom. When she got there, Gloria opened the door and entered. She saw her daughter sitting on her bed looking at her phone.
" Caroline, can we talk?"
She nodded in response, putting her phone down and turning towards her mother, even though she still evaded having eye contact with her, which pained Gloria.
" Listen, umm you already know that Travis has no parents right, they died when he was young, and at that age ,he couldn't really take care of himself. So they wanted him to go to his distant family. But what stopped him from going, it was you and your brothers love for him, that convinced me to be his guardian.
So I was very surprised when I heard you complain about me giving him attention, first of all, I only go there in the morning and at night, the rest of the day I'm with you. You don't even come downstairs to talk to me. Yet you complained about me giving him my attention, even if I did focus on him more, he has literally no one. I personally think you're being selfish right now and I did not raise you to be selfish, maybe you got it from your father, but let's not talk about that right now.
Listen Caroline, I love you very much, no I love you and your brother very much. You two are my anchors and without you, I wouldn't be who I am today, a mother of two, who wants nothing but the best for her children. We're not even gonna discuss what happened today, it's my fault in the first place, so please forgive me for that-"
" How is it your fault, I disobeyed you, and left without your permission. It's my fault mom, so don't apologize " Caroline said, tears dripped down her eyes as she felt extremely sad at the moment.
"As you parent. I'm in charge of how you grow as a person, I won't lie, me not taking the initiative to talk to you, did lead you into becoming like this, so let's agree to meet each other halfway and talk more, because I don't just want to be your mother, but I also want to be your friend. " She said with a bright smile on her face, Caroline nodded and pounced at her mother, who embraced her lovingly. She balled out her tears, releasing a loud sorrowful cry. Gloria held her tightly as she caressed her back and brushing her hair, making Caroline feel love and care, which later made her calm down.
" I love you mom" She said.
" I love you too Caroline, now why don't we go downstairs and make some cookies, I've been wanting to teach you for a long time" She said.
Caroline nodded, wiping her tears away, she flashed a sincere smile and said.
" Finally, I've always wanted to know how you made them so good"

The next morning, at (05:01AM) Travis woke up. Looking around the dark room, he yawned as he stretched his limbs. He got of the bed and did some jumping jacks getting his body active, which made him more energetic.
' Okay, that was a good night sleep. Let me get ready for the day' he thought. He quickly went to the bathroom and took a long piss, after that he entered the shower. When done, he wore some comfortable clothes and went downstairs to watch some TV.
< Next door>
Gloria has just woken up from a peaceful night of sleep. Ever since she's fixed relationship with her daughter, her heart has been filled with joy. Getting up from her bed with a bright smile, she went into the bathroom.
She untied her gown and let it drop down to the floor, she gracefully entered the shower and began bathing herself, while she did this, her husband walked inside. He stared at himself in the mirror, seeing the bags under his eyes, he yawned while scratching his belly.
' I need to sleep,' he thought.
Gloria walked out of the shower and saw her husband. She walked up to him and hugged him from the back.
" Clark, how about we do something special tonight?" She asked in a seductive tone.
" I'm busy, tonight. So maybe tomorrow night. " He said, Clark washed his face with cold water.
She slowly backed away as she sighed," Alright, " she replied.
Gloria took a towel and walked out, when she got out, She heard moaning noises coming from her son's room.
She walked towards his room and opened the door, that very moment an extremely revolting aroma entered her nostrils, she quickly pinched her nose, and looked inside. Seeing nothing but darkness, Gloria switched the light on.
Her son Jack was sleeping on the his table with his laid on the keyboard, he had accidentally pulled out the earphone cord which, resulted in the porn video he was watching before he fell asleep to play loudly.
' Wow, how likely of him' she thought. She went to the computer and turned it off. She then walked out and went to her room.
' I should make breakfast , then I'll go to Travis. I wonder if he'll continue telling me about that Netflix show ' she thought.
