Kapitel 26: Chapter 25
Bakugo left the field and mechanically retrieved 3 bottles of water from a vending machine.
As he walked towards the bleachers of his class while sipping his first bottle of water, his gaze met Izuku in the corridors.
The green guy stood still for a second before showing a small smile.
"Ah Kacchan, that was a good fight earlier… Well done for your victory in the first round"
Bakugo remained silent, contemplating his next words. Meanwhile, Izuku started acting nervous, squirming.
"W-Okay I'm going to go, it's my turn soon and…"
"Hold on !" Interrupting the green man's escape, Bakugo called out to him in a loud voice.
"This girl is your friend, isn't she?"
Izuku tilted his head in confusion "That girl? Ah! you mean Ochaco?"
Bakugo gritted his teeth, expressing himself correctly with this body was still complicated even with two years of experience.
"No matter what her name is, when she wakes up… no at that point it's probably you who will have passed out… In short, when you see her again, be careful to see what she learns from her mistakes."
Without waiting for a response, the blond continued on his way while sipping his bottle of water, leaving a troubled Izuku behind.
'Deku is smart, he probably understood what mistakes I'm talking about, it's not my problem anyway, I did everything I could for her.'
Continuing to walk through the halls, he finally arrived at the bleachers of his class.
Bakugo quietly sipped his water bottle while walking in front of his comrades, he expected remarks about his fight, but surprisingly only silence followed his steps.
'It's weird, I expected at least a reprimand from Denki for acting so violently'
Finally, he sat undisturbed in his seat. Only calm reigned on the stands.
Suddenly, Present Mic spoke again, apparently Kirishima and his opponent are going to determine the winner through an arm wrestling competition.
A small smile of derision appeared on Bakugo's face 'The winner will be my opponent, they could just send both, that would be more fun'
While Bakugo imagined himself fighting the two men with equivalent powers, Kirishima ultimately won the virile arm wrestling.
'Damage…'
"By the way Bakugo, how did you create an explosion with your feet just now?"
Unscrupulously breaking the atmosphere of silence and tranquility in the stands, Denki spoke with a falsely jovial voice.
Bakugo stared at him for a few moments before speaking in a deep voice "Do you really think I'll tell you, number 1 never reveals his tricks, especially to an extra like you."
Denki nodded thoughtfully "um, I see, I'm pretty sure that's not the real saying but I get it."
Bakugo nodded deeply 'I just don't want to waste time explaining myself, after all, there apparently is a spy in Class A...'
Finally, the next fighters entered the field, Bakugo sat up slightly in his seat, the upcoming fight was a real spectacle that he was looking forward to.
On the field, Izuku and Shoto faced each other, the second the fight started a huge block of ice flew towards the green, however it was immediately reduced to dust, Bakugo mechanically swallowed his saliva and muttered under his breath "It's cool~"
The fight was more or less identical to what Bakugo had seen in his previous life, the only difference being that Shoto used his flames earlier, ending the fight before Izuku destroyed all of his fingers.
Unsurprisingly, Shoto won, before leaving the field he took a deep look at Bakugo.
'What's the matter ? He's gay ?'
Unknowingly, Bakugo had leaned forward slightly during the fight, coughing slightly in embarrassment he returned to a normal position while observing if anyone had noticed him.
As he got back into position, he met fumikage's gaze.
A silence reigned between the two before Bakugo spoke in a deep voice "Forget it if you don't want to die!"
Fumikage nodded furtively before redirecting his gaze towards the grounds although no fighter was standing on the arena.
Bakugo frowned "Aren't you the next one to fight?"
The bird widened its eyes and hurriedly got up, running quickly towards the arena.
'This guy... Don't tell me that seeing me interested in a fight surprised him so much that he forgot his fight?'
Feeling someone watching him, Bakugo turned his gaze towards his comrades, however he saw no sign that anyone was watching him.
Shrugging, Bakugo closed his eyes and crossed his arms. 'Damn, my fanboy side has slightly taken over, it's rather annoying, luckily Fumikage is the only one who saw me…'
Quickly the other fights followed, soon Bakugo stood up, heading towards the arena.
