Kapitel 26: Kiss me more?

Kyle stepped inside the house with certain hesitation, leaving a soft "excuse me" at the door. He eyed the place, taking his time looking around the living room and the vast library decorating the place.

He smiled, knowing she had probably read half of them. Looking up, he could see some old books on the upper shelves, too. He was absorbed trying to read the titles, when he felt a little pressure on his leg.

He looked down with wide eyes, only to find a big, fat, brownish cat rubbing himself against his pants. Kyle breathed out, calming the little heart attack.

"Meet Beanie." Cassidy said, popping her head out of the kitchen. "He kinda just tagged along."

"How so?"

"When we moved, he started coming around the house. We gave him food and water just because we found him cute… Now he sleeps on the couch." She said, disappearing again behind the wall.
