The boy expressed, gentle yet firm, a warm graze of nostalgia carried within his voice. Ian's words, prepared to admonish the knight for his nonsensical beliefs, stuck in his throat as if a dense orb, rendering him speechless. Ignorant of his prince's turbulent whirlpool of thoughts, Kieran continued on with his sight glued to the distant darkness, deep in thought.

"Yes, it was after meeting with you. Maybe because I was reminded of your last order, or simply because... I found you... I gradually noticed myself distancing from the path I thought I'd tread for the rest of my life."

He, whose only goal was to exact revenge on that one person, found himself settled beside a seemingly ordinary young man.
