Kapitel 79: Chapter 79: Kenjutsu
"He-he, I didn't think mere kids would be able to sense me. It seems we have quite qualified sensors. You kids really make me want to see what you are more capable of." A husky snake-like voice came from the back of the tree as a man wearing weird clothes that covered his full body walked out from behind the same tree.
"This Orochimaru really knows how to be creep up to anyone." Tsunade mumbled watching her teammate make his way towards them. She already noticed his presence a while ago bit did not make a fuss about it because she did not want others to know what kind of people her teammates are.
Tsande was surprised that their sensory abilities have grown to this extent in these two year. Orochimaru's reason behind his action was to gauge their current sensor abilities.
Tsunade told him about their senior capabilities and he did not hide his presence too much just so he could test them. He wanted to keep decreasing the distance to see how long it would take them to notice him but to his surprise they knew about him from the start.
"You three are really worthy to be that old man's disciple. One is just as weird as the other." Matatabi chuckled and commented without even batting an eye to the people standing in front of them.
Orochimaru did not take offense to her words, instead his grin widened hearing those words. Tsunade on the other hand felt like she was being compared to these perverts and her hands clenched into a fist while the ground beneath her feet cracked.
Matatabi looked at her with a smirk as if saying, this is what I meant by what I just said.
"Cough, Let's not delay the test any longer." Akira coughed and interrupted their talk before things escalated.
He looked at the three kids and announced. "Three of you make clones first."
*Poof*
Just for the sake of showing, Tsukimi made the required hand seals and with a puff of deliberate smoke an identical clone of Tsukimi came into view.
Just like her the two girls followed his lead and made their clones. Akira noted down the points after carefully assessing the clones.
The clones did not have anything different from the originals so he gave them full marks.
"Now that all of you have passed the test you are officially the Genins of the village. Hokage-sama will take pictures with you and you will be assigned under a Jonin instructor. I will take my leave now."
After saying that Akira used body flicker technique to disappear from the place he was standing in an instant.
"Oye brat. Since you have already graduated won't you treat me to a party." Tsunade spoke with a smirk on her face. She wanted to use this Opportunity to swindle money out of the boy.
"As much as I would like to decline the offer It's fine by me. I am craving some ramen, so let's go." Tsukimi spoke in a plain tone without even giving Tsunade a second glance.
'This brat!!' In anger Tsuaxe kicked something only to see it was Jiraiya who had crawled his way back from the ruble only to be sent back to another one.
She snorted and walked out of the academy along with the kids. Orochimaru licked his lips and walked behind them after glancing at his teammate for a second.
On the way they did not talk to each other until someone decided to break the silence.
"Tsukimi-kun, who do you think would be your Jonin instructor?" Orochimaru asked with a curious glint in his eyes and even Tsunade got curious waiting to hear the response to the question.
Tsukimi hummed before speaking. "I don't know, I just hope it's not one of you." before Tsunade could flare in anger Tsukimi continued. "I would want that person to be good with swords." Orochimaru did not take offense to his words but got curious about his interest in swords.
"Kenjutsu huh, you want to learn the way of swords. It would be a tough rode" He commented without much emotion in his tone. It was just a theoretical question from his behalf, it's not like they could choose his instructor. They were assigned by the Hokage.
"You will just waste your talent in Kenjutsu." Tsunade snorted, hearing his options. She knew how strong his body was and his talent in Taijutsu was even stronger than hers.
She hated to admit it but that was the truth.
Tsukimi did not speak but continued walking, he had not been able to learn sword style since he had received Mayurei.
'He-he, use me!! Use me as you please~~' a familiar voice echoed in Tsukimi's mind which caused him to smile a little.
Unknown to Tsunade and Orochimaru, their teacher had been watching them from the start since they left the academy compound.
"Kenjutsu huh, interesting." Hiruzen mumbled while taking out a paper from one of the piles on his desk.
"I know which person to assign you to now." with a shining glint in his eyes Hirazen took a puff of smoke before he placed the document on the desk.
