He still had two Hobgoblins and his disposal, and some twenty goblins, which certainly did wonders for his piece of mind. He knew, that at the very least, they could likely defend against an arrival army of two hundred or three hundred. But in reality, that probably wasn't all that would find them.

They needed to leave the Stormfront as soon as they were able, bringing those slaves that they'd captured back with them. A hundred slaves, at least – whilst not their initial goal – would make for a fair profit, especially given that there was now only a third of their total number for those rewards to be shared between.

In the midst of that need to escape, Vol gave that order to burn the dead.

"Eh? Are you sure?" One of Nolan's men said. Northy shot him a dark look for his disrespect, daring to speak to Vol without any degree of politeness.
