Valerian nodded in agreement. "I'll try to infiltrate the Imperial 10 as soon as I can. By doing so, I'll have more access and authority."

"Thank you. Just tell us how we can help."

"How about your dad's murderer? And Anastasia Monreau…like the other Anastasia. Don't you want to know more about her?" Ambrose asked as he cocked his head to the side.

Ana shook her head. "Everything is already complicated as is. I can't possibly bother you with my personal problems"

Ambrose puffed his cheeks and then proceeded to throw a pillow at Ana.

"Hey!" Ana yelled as she hurled the pillow back at Ambrose.

"Look, we're a team now. Whether you like it or not. Your problem is our problem." Ambrose said proudly. 

Ana felt guilt rise up her stomach. How was she supposed to ask them for help when the only reason she got involved in this in the first place was because of her mission to gather information and kill Valerian?
