"Sure," Lu Jueyu replied.

Besides empanadas, she also packed some fried bananas, beef jerky, and jujube cake for her friend.

After they finished their lunch, Li Lingyun and Pan Meijia returned to their cabin. The moment they opened the door, they saw Xiao Si and Xiao Liu eating pancakes seriously.

Judging by how much strength they needed just to bite and chew the pancakes, Pan Meijia knew those pancakes were made from coarse grains and very hard. 

Watching them chew and swallow with difficulty reminded her of the days when she could eat nothing but those coarse, hard pancakes. Instantly, she felt pain in her jaw and throat.

Seeing them return, Xiao Si swallowed a hard piece of pancake and asked, "Brother Li, Sister-in-law, do you want some pancakes?"
