Kapitel 338: Change of Heart

Everyone woke up early to prepare for their journey to the White Shadow Mountain. They decide to eat together at breakfast before they depart. 

Chris entered the dining hall last while carrying Rocco. Everyone stood up and bowed at him until he sat on his chair. "I have decided not to bring Rocco with us. Kaizer will go instead, he will be in charge of keeping Rocco's extracted blood warm to prevent it from freezing.

I also think that my son and my father-in-law should stay in Qiryn while we are away. Even though I am leaving Arcanis in the hands of my Elite Alphas, I don't want to be too complacent. The demon kingdom is just a river away and they might attack anytime. 

Nathan should focus on healing and I am not comfortable in bringing Rocco with us. Without the werewolves' abilities and the mages' magic, we cannot guarantee the prince's safety in the White Shadow Mountain."
