Kapitel 71: Kui Drum, Thunder Beast Mallet

Long ago… There lived a wild creature that roamed Mount Liubo, its name was Kui. It almost looked like an ox, but it had a green body and no horns. Oddly enough, it traveled around the mountain with only one foot. When it roared, its rumble could be heard for miles, as if thunder stuck. The Emperor got wind of this creature and ordered his men to capture it at once. He made his men make a drum out of its skin and sticks out of its bones. Till this day, some say they can still hear the sound of rhythmic drums being played by the Emperor to intimidate others of his presence.

Within the formation barrier, the green-skinned drum was about half the size of a washbasin. The drum's surface seemed like it was made of an animal with green skin.

On the taut and flat green beast skin, there were strange and mysterious patterns.

These patterns looked like a group of serpents being entangled and were enraged.

"This is a natural lightning mark!"
