47.88% Reborn In Naruto as Orochimaru (AU) / Chapter 134: Chapter 134 : Back To Ryūchi Cave

Kapitel 134: Chapter 134 : Back To Ryūchi Cave

Looking at the scorched ground and the distant place where Lord Gen escaped, Takeshi and Orochimaru were left in speechless awe.

"Why did you let him escape like this, my little brother? If I were to kill him, I could devour a significant amount of power." Takeshi expressed his frustration.

"Who could have predicted that he would value his life so much? You should know that kage-level powerhouses often have their own pride and sometimes prefer death over surrendering... Maybe this Shimura ninja is an exception?" Orochimaru pondered, clearly vexed.

"Speaking of which, if you really desired to kill him that badly, you should have gone all out from the beginning. After all, the dead don't reveal secrets!" Orochimaru shifted the blame back to Takeshi.

"Even if he and other witnesses are eliminated, Anbu can still find leads."

Takeshi was about to respond when he chuckled at himself, "Well, indeed, I'm still too timid. I've grown accustomed to the shadows and lack that bit of courage!"

Orochimaru glanced at Takeshi but said nothing.

"The remaining Senjutsu Chakra crystals are still dissipating!" Orochimaru suddenly remarked.

"Nani?!"

Takeshi hurried over to observe. Gazing at the small pile of jade-like crystals, both of them displayed excited smiles.

"Seal them!"

After some effort, the two managed to seal the crystals within a scroll. However, it was clear that the level of this sealing technique was too low and unstable. They needed to find a secure location to address this issue; otherwise, returning to Konoha with such a concentrated energy would risk exposure to Tobirama's detection.

"Let's head to the Ryūchi Cave and consult the White Snake Sage for a solution. And let's express our gratitude to her." Takeshi suggested.

The distant towns were still ablaze, devoid of any royal authority to maintain order. Chaos had engulfed the area, resembling a world in turmoil.

Takeshi had little interest in plundering from ordinary people. It was likely that various factions were on their way, making it unsuitable for them to linger here.

The battle against Lord Gen had boosted Takeshi's confidence and solidified his understanding of his own strength. Although Lord Gen wasn't in his prime and lacked knowledge about Senjutsu, Takeshi had managed to defeat and drive him away. If Takeshi were to go all out and employ all his abilities, he could at least match Lord Gen in a five-to-one scenario.

With a grasp of Lord Gen's tactics, Takeshi now had a strong winning strategy for a future encounter. Lord Gen's power level was that of a typical kage-level ninja, not too different from the current Danzo. Thus, Takeshi and Orochimaru were of kage-level strength themselves.

During his clandestine activities, Takeshi typically concealed his true strength. Now that the two "God of Shinobi" were vanquished and Nagato had yet to form a faction, kage-level ninjas were the backbone of the major ninja villages. Takeshi's strength was formidable, making him an elusive target for ordinary foes.

Of course, the Naruto world was intricate and enigmatic, with ninja and chakra being just one layer of the complexity. When facing unknown adversaries or even the enigmatic force that had captured the major Tailed Beasts, extreme caution was paramount.

"Let's depart. This place holds no value." Orochimaru summoned a snake, and the two were about to leave when Takeshi suddenly spotted something and raised his gaze.

"I almost forgot about her, but I can't allow her to fall into the wrong hands."

In the sky, Hela was soaring unsteadily. She had awoken after the previous battle, her potent regenerative abilities allowing her to remove the kunai pinning her down and escape.

"Ninjutsu: Hidden Shadow Snake Hands."

Takeshi leaped high into the air, using his mastery over natural energy to maintain flight, and he caught the startled Hela.

"Really, if you weren't flying, I might have overlooked you."

Hela transitioned from her monstrous Kama Itachi form back into a captivating woman. She glared fiercely at Takeshi and Orochimaru, hurling curses, but Takeshi paid her no mind and stored her within the snake's belly.

"If you could apply this technique to yourself, you might gain the ability to fly. Don't rule out the possibility. It might make you even stronger!"

Takeshi said to Orochimaru. With his command over natural energy, flight became viable, but Orochimaru lacked this ability.

Flight techniques in the ninja world were rare, often involving secretive arts or demanding rigorous conditions. Although not exceedingly practical in battle, they greatly enhanced mobility and provided solutions for various scenarios.

"Is that what you're implying?" Orochimaru patted the snake's belly, within which lay Hela and her two comrades, unconscious.

"Curse Seals are advanced concepts and technologies, whereas these are merely crude products, forcibly infusing chakra into cells."

Orochimaru shook his head. "Are you fixated on the idea of flight? If it's not feasible, remember I can use the Kusanagi sword to fly. The Kusanagi sword is best manipulated using chakra."

"Huh? What's this?"

Takeshi suddenly picked up a book, dropped by Hela earlier. It was the Book of Gelel.

"Excellent! With this method of refining and storing Senjutsu Chakra, I can conduct secretive experiments safely in Konoha!"

Both of them were elated. The book contained knowledge about smelting, purifying, and storing energy. Decades of Troy's development and mining wisdom were encapsulated within its pages, making it a truly invaluable resource.

Chakra and most energies were unstable substances, requiring special techniques or ninjutsu to temporarily stabilize them.

The technology from "Book of Gelel" allowed energy to be maintained in a stable state for an extended period, ensuring it wouldn't dissipate for months.

Even if a Gelel Stone were to shatter, the energy wouldn't explode. It was an exceptionally stable solution.

In the later stages of the Naruto world, electrical equipment also existed. However, the rudimentary lightning storage method was risky, particularly when developing energy weapons.

What exactly was the Gelel Stone? In essence, it was the energy storage unit of the ninja world.

Furthermore, this smelting method was applicable to energy, potentially even to chakra. The efficacy might diminish due to chakra's lower quality, but it remained plausible.

Takeshi's eyes sparkled with anticipation, envisioning the advent of groundbreaking technologies: Chakra-powered battle armour, human puppets akin to scorpions, legendary scientific ninja tools and others.

This method might even be used for sealing massive energy.

Um... Casting a wary glance around, Takeshi swallowed the book without hesitation.

........

"Could this truly be the country marked on that map?"

Konoha's ninjas stood before the vast forest, concealed ruins within it. They were struck dumb by the scene before them, unsure how to proceed.

"Gen-sama marked this location?" A Jonin probed, touching a nearby tree trunk in disbelief.

A rustling sound emerged from the surrounding grass, setting everyone on edge.

A ninja cautiously parted the foliage, his expression dramatically altering at what he found.

"Here! Medical ninjas, over here!"

........

"You little rascal, What have you gotten yourself into to create such chaos?"

The White Snake Sage's gaze alternated between Orochimaru and Takeshi, her astonishment palpable.

"It couldn't be helped. Once Konoha and other factions got wind of it, I had no choice but to intervene."

The vein was obliterated, and vast amounts of Senjutsu Chakra escaped. Fortunately, Takeshi managed to salvage a considerable quantity.

Unsealing the already unstable seal, a small heap of emerald-like gems emerged on the scroll. A verdant mist emanated from them, infusing the space with vitality.

"What a pure essence!" Countless snakes emerged from the cave, accompanied by three snake women floating in the air. They curiously observed Takeshi and Orochimaru, who hadn't left yet.

"These energies aren't as effective for me now, so let's allocate half of them to purify this place for the younger generation's benefit."

The White Snake Sage's gaze shifted slightly, prompting half of the crystals to rise and disperse, infusing Ryūchi Cave with a potent Sage energy.

Takeshi paid no heed to the White Snake Sage's actions. They were only fitting. He too had a sack of Gelel Stones from Troy.

However, the White Snake Sage's casual ability to decompose chakra left Takeshi astounded. If this energy barely affected the White Snake Sage, then what level of power had she attained?

In another nonchalant gesture, the White Snake Sage encapsulated the remaining gems, preventing their dissipation. As long as Takeshi and Orochimaru comprehended the technology within the Book of Gelel , they could reclaim them whenever they wished.

Simultaneously, in a hidden corner of the Shinobi world, a dark figure materialized in the sunlight, gazing at the destroyed Gelel vein, and venting its fury.
