Greenfield's father, still perplexed by his son's behavior, couldn't help but ask, "Then what else should we do?"

Alex, in a good mood, turned lightly and said, "Just wait. There's no need to rush. After all, the status of our farm is still unclear, whether it will be evicted or not."

Greenfield's father, upon hearing this, finally remembered. He understood his son's meaning: there was no need to hurry because many things were happening in the village right now.

"Okay, then I'll keep an eye on Roger's movements in my free time," said Greenfield's father casually, though a little annoyed at the last word.

"Have you had breakfast, Dad?"

"No, I was in such a rush to come to your house earlier that I didn't have time for breakfast."

"Okay, then let's have breakfast together."

Greenfield's father, upon hearing this, was not at all polite.
