Kapitel 141: New Runner
After Maine gave me the bird while I did the same in return I walked toward Rogues booth, "Hey Weyland, how's it going." I ask Rogues bodyguard Weyland as he was barring my way.
"Hifumi, Rogues busy." Weyland while keeping it short and to the point.
"A long while or a short while?" I ask as he looks over his shoulder to rogue as his eyes glow under his visor before looking back at me.
"15 minutes."
"Aight, call me over when shes done." I say before heading over to the bar to grab a drink from Claire.

"Hifumi, she's waiting for you." Weyland says as he comes over to me as I get up from the bar and go over to Rogues booth and sit with her.
Rogue was smoking a cigarette as she watched me sit down before taking a long drag before blowing it out, "You know you either have no tact or you got balls of steel to come talk to me after that almost botched Gig you and Maines crew were apart of."
"Ehh I'd say I'm more of the ballsy type in my opinon, besides it all worked out, and even the client gave us the bonus in the end, everyone wins." I say with a shrug.
"Riiight, and how you got that bonus still after going in loud when the job was meant to be a quiet one means you guys did something extra to earn that, if I had to guess it was what the news was talking about with Biotechnica selling a drug that causes Nuerodegeneration and knowing about it the whole time but kept selling it right?" She says as she sends me a bit on the news clip through the holo.
"You could say that, also that even though the client was anonymous it seems I actually knew them personally when I mentioned that we did something to Biotechnica they laughed and said they'd still give us the bonus in full." Even after being split 3 ways I still got 100k, I hope he is already selling things to people now so we can start making up for all of this lost SP, I'm actually to afraid to look at what I got as I could just see it rapidly dropping if I did seeing as we probably already used 60% of our total SP for everything if I had to guess low end and 80% high end.
"Mmm, well Biotechnica's dropped by 20% after that before someone started to buy them all up from the people rapidly selling, and since they were selling it seems everyone else is beginning to sell them so they still get there moneys worth before the entire stocks crash, if our client is lucky, they'd have enough to be a major shareholder in Biotechnica because of all of this." She says before taking another puff from her cigarette before downing some whiskey to boot.
"That's just like him, get any profits where he sees it while ruining the competition altogether, but besides that I'm coming here for something different, you already know our Netrunner Sasha is going to be out of the crew for an unknown amount of time so I came to ask the one lady that has the detes on anyone that is anybody in this biz so I want to know if any Netrunners are looking for a crew to join up on." I say laying it out there for her.
"Hmm, well that's not something hard for me to do, but info isn't free you know? You know the deal, whatever you pay is what I decide as to what info you get whether good or bad don't matter to me." She said like the businesswoman she is.
"Fine, what's the cost on runners who got some street cred where they haven't fucked up any or very few of their jobs and there not fresh off the streets and have been doing this for sometime but less than a year?" I say getting into specifics as I lean forward as I look at her.
"Hmm, getting very specific there, but if you want some info like that I'd say 10k would be enough." She says before drinking some more whisky.
"You know if I didn't know you I'd almost mistake you for a Corpo with the shitty deals your cutting here, but fine whatever, take the cress and send me the detes." I say shaking my head before my eyes light up and transfer 10k to her account.
"Well I get that sometimes, but with my rep people are willing to fork over the cress for any intel I have, here sending you the detes now, about 10 people fit your description so its up to you who to get in contact with." She said as she transferred the files over to me to look over.
"Aight, thanks for the detes, talk to you when you got another gig for me." I say getting up as she waved me away as I left her booth before going back to Maines booth.
"So? How'd it go kid?" Maine asked as I sat down after pushing the still out cold Pilar aside so I could sit.
"Well besides having to pay for the info we need it went fine, she wasn't as pissed as she could have been, also you own me 15k for this info I payed out of pocket." I say before sending him and Dorio the files over holo.
"15k? Man she took it out on you with her fees huh?" He said a bit surprised this bit of info cost so much." Maine looked a bit surprised this little bit of info cost so much.
"Actually it's only 10k the extra 5 is the pussy tax that you owe me specifically old man." I say which gets Dorio to spit out her drink before she burst out laughing as a result.
"Bfthahaha! He got you there Maine! You better pay up if you know what's good for you." She says with a smile as she wrapped her arm around his neck.
His lips twitched in annoyance from hearing that before I got my 15k, "There you happy? I swear you kids really know how to piss an old man off." He said shaking his head as Dorio let him go.
"Alright enough chatter let's look over the runners we got here." He said as we looked at the ten runners, there number of gigs and there skills based on rogues estimates.

We saw all of them but only a few actually stood out from the details in the files we had here.
"This Kiwi girl, she's the odd one out." Maine went onto mention as he looked at Kiwi's Profile.
"Oh? And why's that?" Dorio asked while I looked at him as well.
"Unlike the rest, she has no real name and only her aliase exists for her name unlike others who have there full names or nicknames if they have them but she just doesn't." Maine said seeming more and more curious about her.
"Well then, I think we know who the next Runner to recruit is going to be, looks like we should get in contact with this Kiwi chick." I said as everything was going to be set in stone as of now.
Now all we got to do is convince her to join the crew.
