Georgina has already undergone a dilation and curettage procedure and has been returned to the recovery room, but she has not regained consciousness. I'm just sitting in a chair, looking at her pale and weak face, continuously imagining how she will react when she finds out our baby is gone.

"Leonardo, this is your son," she says, immediately shaking me to my core. She said it's my son, so the baby is a boy? Dear God... I feel suffocated, my breath feels so constricted knowing all of this, realizing that this is something I wanted to know so badly but never expected to find out the gender when our baby passed away.

"You can think of a name for him... Then bury him."
