When they arrive at the dining table, Iris can see Lucian, Gavriel, and the others talking with Xiu.

She sat with Xavier on the other side of the table. Before they joined the conversation, the waitress came to serve her dinner.

Iris faintly heard their conversation but didn't understand at all. She turns her gaze to Xavier beside her.

To her surprise, he was now staring back at her.
